OUR AMMAN OFFICE Our Amman office is Make Work Flow's engineering home – the hub where our technical development team designs, builds, and ships the products that give our customers real-time visibility across their operations, from KiK today to new markets across China and South Asia on our roadmap. We're currently on the verge of an exciting new product, deep in the development phase, and we're building out the right team here in Amman to help us build it out and get it executed together. ROLE OVERVIEW As a Flutter App Developer, you'll design and build our mobile experience, giving shopfloor teams, managers, and suppliers real-time visibility into sampling, production, and supplier data from their phones and tablets. You'll work closely with the Tech Senior Lead and backend engineers to connect the app to our Python/FastAPI backend and to the real-time shopfloor data streaming off RFID scanners, IoT devices, and terminals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and build our mobile application for iOS and/or Android using Flutter • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new mobile features • Integrate the app with our Python/FastAPI backend and other APIs and backend services • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation • Participate in code reviews and testing cycles • Support app releases, including publishing to the App Store and/or Google Play Store REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 2+ years of professional experience in mobile app development • Proficiency in Flutter • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/SDKs • Familiarity with mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM) • Experience with version control systems (Git) • Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including app store submission and review processes • Familiarity with offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning • Bonus: coursework, side projects, or curiosity around IoT, hardware integration, or manufacturing/supply-chain systems • English fluency is a must (our internal and client communication is only in English) TECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS • Mobile: Flutter, Dart • Backend integration: REST APIs, Python/FastAPI services • Tooling: Git, App Store & Google Play release pipelines CORE COMPETENCIES • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Effective team collaboration and a positive, cooperative attitude • Problem-solving and analytical thinking, with a proactive approach to challenges • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes WHAT WE OFFER • Join a founding engineering team building a real, customer-facing mobile product – not internal tooling or busywork • Work directly with the Tech Senior Lead on architecture and technical patterns for the mobile app • Work on real-time data solutions for global brands and manufacturers, from KiK today to new markets across China and South Asia • Genuine startup energy – fast decisions, direct ownership, and no bureaucracy slowing you down • Flat hierarchy – your ideas and questions reach the Tech Senior Lead directly, no layers in between • Significant room to grow as the Amman office scales toward 8-12 engineers
