Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS Serverless & Infrastructure Automation) Location: Mississauga, ON Workplace type: Hybrid Must have: AWS serverless architecture DevOps Infrastructure Automation cost-efficient Job Summary We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS serverless architecture, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, provisioning, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while enabling efficient application delivery through automated pipelines. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, primarily using serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3). · Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and maintain reliable, repeatable environments. · Ensure cloud environments are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, following best practices and compliance standards. · Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for application build, test, and deployment automation. · Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline deployment processes and improve release cycles. · Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability and performance optimization. · Maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and secure configuration management. · Provide project timelines, effort estimation, and contribute to planning and delivery milestones. · Document infrastructure and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Qualifications · Strong experience with AWS services, especially serverless architectures. · Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. · Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions. · Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and scalability principles. · Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. · Familiarity with version control systems (Git). · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. · Ability to manage priorities and provide realistic project timelines. Preferred Qualifications · Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. · Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. · Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect are advantageous.
