About Project Our client, an international bank based in Kraków, is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join its Cloud Services Operations team. The team is responsible for supporting a wide range of cloud workloads across AWS, GCP and Azure. Its focus is on managing cloud accounts, operating key platform services, and partnering with development teams to deliver new applications securely and efficiently. Working in an agile environment, the team builds and maintains highly resilient, scalable and automated cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, reliability and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing Working closely with project teams to design and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions that support business objectives.Participating in the on-call rotation, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving production incidents to ensure platform stability.Creating and maintaining clear documentation for both technical teams and business stakeholders.Managing AWS environments and supporting the day-to-day operation of core cloud platform services.Partnering with software engineering teams to deliver new applications securely and efficiently into production. What We're Looking For Strong communicators who enjoy collaborating with others and working toward shared goals.Engineers who can confidently lead major incident investigations, participate in on-call rotations, and work closely with cross-functional teams on technical initiatives.Professionals with solid Python skills and a passion for automation. If Python isn't your primary language, strong scripting experience combined with a software development background is also highly valued.Hands-on experience with a broad range of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.A practical understanding of DevOps principles and Agile ways of working, with a strong sense of ownership from development through production support.A proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows environments, along with experience using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Git, Ansible, and Terraform.A security-first mindset and a solid understanding of how to build and operate secure solutions within AWS. Nice To Have AWS certifications or a willingness to obtain them.Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.Linux and/or Windows certifications.Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, or security testing.Understanding of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.Previous experience working in highly regulated environments, such as banking, finance, or healthcare.
