Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age. TDI is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort who has 5 years of hands-on engineering and administration experience in virtualized Information Technology environments. Experience with infrastructure as code environments, automating patches and system configurations, and with designing and engineering commercial cloud environments, architectures, and designs is preferred.This position is onsite 5 days/week in Arlington, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide continuous development and continuous integration to include operational engineering and integration, release management, implementation & migration, and training & knowledge transfer. Design, build, and maintain capabilities utilizing the current Amazon C2S enabled architecture and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formation, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, S3, Terraform, and containerization. Configure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and ConfigOperate and improve reliability/availability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continual service improvementAutomate system deployments and operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Document and deliver an approach for automated testing including integration, regression, and acceptance testing, including tools and processesProduce and maintain technical documentation (build guides, runbooks, diagrams, and operational procedures)Manage, sustain, and improve the integration and testing environments on the unclassified and classified infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud to validate all capabilities and technologies prior to being deployed on the production environment. Stage new and upgraded services components or services to integration and testing environment. Develop and engineer improvements to the cloud infrastructure and architecture to support continuous development and continuous integration utilizing modern practices and tools. Support and perform deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (i.e., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Bitbucket)Maintain documentation of code developed in support of CESO environments. Support patching, logging, vulnerability scanning, and compliance trackingParticipate in the release management process. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and Jira-based task trackingDevelop automation to reduce manual operations (provisioning, patching, backups, scaling, routine maintenanceQUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must currently have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly. BA/BS and 8-12 years of experience in Information TechnologyExperience with AWS or other cloud services reinforced with architectural design experience4 years’ extensive experience in AWS Cloud Technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts. 4 years’ experience in implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formations, Terraform, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Docker, GIT and S3. 4 years’ experience in building end-to-end solutions on AWS leveraging Object Oriented Programing (OOP) programming. (Python, Ruby, Java, PHP) and AWS SDK. Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (i.e., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Bitbucket)IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) PAY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
