Frontend Developer

This role is for one of our clients Location: San Francisco Salary Range: $160,000 – $260,000 (Base) Requirements About the Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team in San Francisco. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize modern web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of professional experience in Frontend Development Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Experience building modern web applications using React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frontend frameworks Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI development practices Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working closely with backend services Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Context API Experience with version control, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Rollup Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using frameworks like Next.js Experience with UI component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI, or Tailwind CSS Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Interest in AI-powered user interfaces, web performance optimization, and modern frontend architecture Benefits Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $160,000 – $260,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Competitive equity or bonus opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development and learning opportunities Collaborative and innovative work environment in New York City
