Frontend Engineer / Design Technologist (Blockchain)

About Our Client Our client is one of the fastest growing GovTech companies in the country, recently doubling in size and working directly with state and federal agencies on cutting edge blockchain and data intelligence solutions. They are looking for an exceptional Frontend Engineer and Design Technologist who cares deeply about both design and engineering to help invent their flagship product. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will work directly with product, design, and engineering leadership and have significant influence over how the platform looks, feels, and functions. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCATED IN TRI-STATE AREA FOR SOME ONSITE COLLABORATION Responsibilities Design and build product experiences from concept through productionPrototype ideas in code to explore new interactions, workflows, and product directionsCreate elegant interfaces for complex data, documents, maps, and AI-powered workflowsOwn critical frontend architecture decisions including component systems, state management, rendering strategies, and performance optimizationCollaborate closely with backend, platform, and data teams to deliver end-to-end product capabilitiesImprove reliability, observability, accessibility, and overall product qualityHelp define the technical and design standards that shape the future of the platform Qualifications Strong frontend engineering experience building production-grade web applicationsExcellent product intuition with a demonstrated eye for interaction design, usability, and craftDeep understanding of modern frontend architecture, performance, and scalable UI systemsHands-on experience with React, TypeScript, modern web frameworks, and component-driven developmentAbility to move fluidly between design thinking and implementationComfort operating in ambiguity and defining solutions before requirements are fully formedA builder mindset with a strong bias toward shipping Bonus Points Experience building data-intensive products, developer tools, GIS applications, enterprise software, or AI-native experiencesFamiliarity with design systems and interaction prototypingKnowledge of mapping, visualization, or geospatial technologiesExperience in high-growth startups or early-stage environments Compensation --> base salary + bonus + meaningful equity If you have gotten this far ... send an email to Evan@the-greenegroup.com with your favorite MOVIE as the SUBJECT of the email, your resume and why you might be a great fit for this role.
