Security Engineer

Franmax is a company providing IT services to retail chains owned by MAXIMA GRUPĖ in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Bulgaria. MAXIMA GRUPĖ is the largest Lithuanian retail business operating in the Baltic States. MAXIMA GRUPĖ also conducts e-commerce activities - the company operates the online grocery store BARBORA in all Baltic countries. We’re looking for Security Engineer to join the FRANMAX team. Someone who understands technology, not just security tools. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, Linux or DevOps who wants to deepen their cybersecurity expertise. You do not need to know our security tools today. We can teach you Cortex XDR, Security Onion, OpenSearch and our security processes. What matters most is your technical mindset, troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn. We are looking for a colleague who ideally has: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD and identity management conceptsExperience with security monitoring tools (SIEM, XDR, log management, vulnerability scanners)Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and secure access controlsPractical experience with security configuration, conditional access, and MFA in Microsoft 365/Azure environments Your responsibilities will include: Administering and monitoring security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability scanners, IAM).Monitoring and analyzing security alerts, investigating security incidents, escalating and collaborating with incident response teams when required.Perform security assessments, analysis and support remediation activities.Assisting infrastructure and application teams in the development, implementation and enforcement of security controls to comply with security policies, standards and procedures.Identifying opportunities to improve security automation, monitoring and reporting.Manage security awareness and training initiatives to strengthen the company’s overall security posture.
