Title: GitHub Copilot Expert / AI-Assisted Development Specialist Location - Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite) Duration - 6 Months - Extendable Contract Description We are looking for an experienced GitHub Copilot Expert to drive the successful adoption of AI-assisted software development across engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on software development experience, deep expertise in the GitHub ecosystem, and practical knowledge of GitHub Copilot Enterprise. You will collaborate with developers, architects, and technical leadership to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and software delivery using AI-powered development tools. Key Responsibilities Lead GitHub Copilot adoption across engineering teams.Provide hands-on development support using GitHub Copilot.Troubleshoot Copilot, GitHub Enterprise, and development workflow issues.Define best practices for AI-assisted software development.Conduct workshops, training sessions, and technical demonstrations.Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to establish enterprise development standards.Improve developer productivity through optimized AI-assisted coding.Monitor adoption metrics, productivity improvements, and code quality.Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and GitHub integrations.Ensure secure coding, governance, and compliance while using AI tools.Mentor development teams on GitHub Copilot best practices.Skills Strong software development experience using Python (preferred), Java, or .NET.Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.Strong knowledge of GitHub Enterprise.Expertise in Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and repositories.Microsoft Azure experience.Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.Kubernetes knowledge.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, and design patterns.Experience working in Agile environments.
