Infrastructure Engineer - Full Stack

Location: Montreal ; onsite 3x/week Experience: 5 - 7 years What You'll Do Lead and support infrastructure-related PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives across diverse technology platforms.Own the full lifecycle of application administration, ensuring seamless request flow and network integration.Manage and troubleshoot network and security configurations: routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, DMZ setups, IPs, ports, subnets, MAC addresses, and authentication protocols (RBAC, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, AD).Administer servers across Windows, Linux, Mac, and vendor ecosystems.Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell) to streamline operations.Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.Engage directly with stakeholders and customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.Support and troubleshoot IoT/OT devices across multiple platforms (Android, Windows, Linux, Unix, iOS), including building management, lighting control, occupancy, and air quality systems.Work within a globally distributed team, occasionally attending meetings outside core hours.Partner with security design teams to define and apply appropriate controls for integrated solutions.Support existing IoT systems: manage upgrades and troubleshoot issues.Ensure production systems remain compliant with internal hygiene and governance standards.Collaborate with vendors to future-proof systems and evaluate emerging solutions. What You Bring 5–7 years of experience in a senior, full-stack infrastructure role.Excellent, hands-on expertise in application administration with end-to-end network integration.Excellent understanding of network and security layers, configurations, and authentication flows.Excellent, platform-agnostic server administration skills, including vendor-specific systems (e.g., CA, BMC, IBM DataPower).Strong automation and scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell.Excellent communication skills — clear, concise, and effective across technical and business audiences.Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps practices and tooling.Working exposure to cloud platforms and services.Excellent, platform-agnostic troubleshooting ability for IoT/OT devices.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience working within global, distributed teams. Nice to Have Exposure to vulnerability scanning and assessment tools (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Nessus).Familiarity with Microsoft Defender or CrowdStrike exposure management, and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.Experience with patch management tools (Tanium, BigFix, SCCM).Knowledge of risk scoring frameworks (CVSS, EPSS) and configuration hardening (CIS benchmarks).Exposure to cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with container and Kubernetes security.IoT/OT vulnerability management experience, a strong differentiator for this role.Certifications in networking, security, or cloud (e.g., CCNA, AWS, Azure). To Note English proficiency is required due to participation in meetings, conferences, training sessions, and projects conducted in English.Some meetings may be scheduled outside core business hours to accommodate globally distributed teams.Onsite presence required 3 days per week.
