Junior Application Developer with Oracle APEX / PL-SQL / Python

Description & Requirements Who we are looking for Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.Curious and technology-driven person who enjoys building software and solving problems.Familiar with PL/SQL and Python, supported by university projects, personal projects or commercial experience.Interested in application development, not only data analysis or reporting.Able to understand existing systems, troubleshoot issues and implement reliable solutions.Familiarity with Oracle APEX, JavaScript, Linux, REST APIs or AI technologies will be a plus.Good English skills (B2 or higher).Strong ownership mindset and attention to quality. Your future role As part of our Automation Team, you will develop and maintain internal tax technology applications used by Deloitte teams across multiple countries. You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to design, implement and improve software solutions that replace manual and Excel-based processes. You will Develop and maintain business applications using Oracle APEX.Design and implement database logic in PL/SQL.Develop automation solutions in Python.Investigate production issues, identify root causes and implement fixes.Analyze business requirements and translate them into working software solutions.Integrate external services using APIs.Participate in building and integrating AI-powered solutions.Perform testing and validate changes before deployment. Your responsibilities Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.Maintain and improve existing applications and services.Ensure that delivered solutions are reliable, properly tested and documented.Support bug fixing and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders. What would additionally help? Experience with personal, academic or commercial software projects.Experience using Azure DevOpsUnderstanding of software testing and debugging.Experience with REST APIs.Experience with AI tools, prompt design or OpenAI APIs.Experience with Linux environments.
