Description

Hey human! If you are an incredible engineer who wants your work to have meaning at a very early stage (but funded) company, then this could be for you. About Sollo:Our mission is simple: "Sollo exists to allow anyone to earn f**k you money, independently." Sollo is a lead generation CRM for Solopreneurs. It's built for solopreneurs, fractional executives, solo consultants, and the 62M+ independent professionals who are brilliant at their craft and undertrained at selling it. We're out to make a global impact by delivering a tool that streamlines their entire customer acquisition and retention needs. We launched a closed beta in March 2026 and already have paying customers across 15 different countries, plus over 900 people on the waitlist. Where most tools do one thing, Sollo combines five into one operating system: an AI sales agent, built-in prospecting with enrichment, a unified multi-channel inbox (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp), pipeline management, and offer-based ICP workflows. No competitor in our segment puts all of that in one place. We're a small but fast moving team. The next 12 months determine whether Sollo becomes the default OS for solo B2B professionals. You'd be one of the first engineers in the door, working directly with the founder to decide what we build and how, and you'd be shaping that. What you'll be doing:This is a founding engineer role: broad ownership, high autonomy, and a direct line from your code to customer outcomes. You'll work across the full stack on the features that make Sollo sticky: the AI sales agent, the inbox, prospecting, the CRM, and the integrations underneath them. Ship. Get working software in front of customers quickly, then iterate. Output is what matters. Build across the stack. Front-end, back-end, data, and the AI layer that powers the product. Use AI tools properly. We expect you to be excellent at building with AI (coding assistants, agents, LLM APIs) and at building AI into the product. You know where AI accelerates you and where it doesn't. Own features end to end. From a rough idea or a customer conversation through to shipped, monitored, and improved. Talk to customers. You'll understand who we serve and let their reality drive your decisions. Keep quality high where it counts. Strong attention to detail in the things customers feel, pragmatic everywhere else. You'll be handed problems, customers, and trust to autonomously get the job done. Message us right away if this sounds like you:You've got 5+ years building and shipping production software, ideally some of it at an early-stage startup, and a track record of getting real things into users' hands, not just starting them. You're fluent with AI tooling. You use it daily, get genuine leverage from it, and you've built AI features that real people rely on.You're comfortable in a modern TypeScript full-stack environment (TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node, Postgres, cloud infrastructure) and happy to learn whatever the problem needs. You sweat the experience, the edge cases, and the polish that separates "works" from "feels right", while still knowing when to ship and when to refine. You work openly, give and take feedback well, and make the people around you better. Bonus points You've been a solopreneur or founder yourself. You've lived the problem we solve. You have a UX/UI design skill set. You can take something from idea to a clean, usable interface without waiting on anyone. This probably isn't for you ifYou want to specialise. If your ambition is to be the deepest expert in the world on one part of the stack, you'll find this role frustrating. We need range. You need a detailed spec. You're helping decide what gets built. If you're happiest executing someone else's roadmap, this will feel like being dropped in the deep end.You want to build the perfect system. We're optimising for customers feeling something change this week, not for architecture we'll admire in two years. You want a team around you. You'd be one of our first five employees. You'll have the founder's time and design support when you need it, but you are a large part of the engineering function. You're not in Amsterdam. This is an in-person/hybrid role and we can't sponsor visas, so you'll need the existing right to work in the Netherlands. Your first 90 days:🗓️ In your first 90 days, you'll ship features that paying customers use, own an area of the product outright, and have a direct hand in what we build next. You'll have access to whatever tooling makes you fast, and support from design when you need it. We really want to reiterate that you can take this role and run with it. We're a small team that's growing super quickly and we want you to own your corner and expand it! Why you'll love working with us Make an immediate impact as one of our first 5 employees, directly driving growth and shaping our future.Ship shit fast, however you want to do it. We encourage creativity, experimentation and innovation.Your work will be used by real, paying users from day one in a clear, validated market.Work directly with a founder who has started and sold a business before, so you're building alongside someone who has done it.Work with awesome people, who are fun, collaborative, smart and modest.
