Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 12-Month Contract Pay Rate: CAD 90/h on Inc Role Overview We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced technology team delivering and supporting enterprise digital solutions. This role involves end-to-end ownership of application development, testing, deployment, and production support within a DevOps environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and support full-stack applications and services.Build and consume REST APIs and modern web services.Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.Participate in production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and operational requirements.Support continuous delivery through regular releases and DevOps best practices.Required Skills 3–6 years of software development experience.Strong experience with Java and JavaScript.Experience with REST APIs and microservices-based applications.Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have Experience with production support and monitoring tools.Exposure to AI-powered development tools and technologies.Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.What We're Looking For A hands-on engineer who enjoys building and supporting production systems.Strong ownership mindset with a focus on quality and reliability.Comfortable working across development, testing, deployment, and operational support.Continuous learner who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
