Job Title: Alibaba Cloud DevOps Engineer Location: Austin, TX Work Arrangement: On-site Employment Type: Contract/Full Time Duration: 6+ months Domain: Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Pay Rate: $135k annually Application Deadline: August 4th 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or DevOps Engineering.3+ years of hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud.Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).Hands-on expertise with Alibaba Cloud services:ECS, VPC, OSS, RDS, SLB, RAM, CEN, WAF, ACK, CloudMonitor.Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Routing, Load Balancing, Firewalls, NAT.Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Alibaba Cloud ROS.Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes (ACK preferred).Configuration management using Ansible.CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.Monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudMonitor.Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Shell.Strong understanding of IAM, cloud security, encryption, backup, and disaster recovery.POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Alibaba Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions on Alibaba Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud security while ensuring highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise environments. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Alibaba Cloud.Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Alibaba Cloud ROS.Administer Linux-based production environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.Configure and manage Alibaba Cloud services including ECS, VPC, OSS, RDS, SLB, RAM, CEN, WAF, ACK, and CloudMonitor.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (ACK).Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudMonitor.Ensure cloud security through IAM, encryption, backup, disaster recovery, and network security best practices.EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of Infrastructure, Cloud, or DevOps Engineering experience.Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Alibaba Cloud experience.Relevant Alibaba Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Linux certifications are a plus.BENEFITS Medical | Dental | Vision | 401(k) EEOC COMPLIANCE We are an equal opportunity employer.
