DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a platform engineering team responsible for enabling and accelerating enterprise API development. This role is ideal for engineers who bridge application development and cloud infrastructure, rather than focusing solely on networking or cloud administration. The team builds and manages platform services, automates CI/CD pipelines, develops deployment frameworks, and creates tooling that enhances API development, testing, and delivery across AWS environments. Key Responsibilities AWS Platform Services Provision and manage AWS application services including:RedisValkeyDynamoDBElastiCacheKafkaAmazon S3Troubleshoot and support application platform services.Collaborate with cloud teams while focusing on application-layer infrastructure rather than networking.CI/CD & Platform Automation Design, enhance, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Develop and optimize Helm Charts.Implement configuration and secrets management.Automate build, deployment, and release processes.Improve developer productivity through pipeline automation and scripting.API Platform & Testing Build and enhance automated testing frameworks.Support both functional and performance testing.Develop AI-assisted tools and automation solutions for API engineering teams.Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and support DevOps tools and platform components.Build scalable automation solutions for cloud and on-prem environments.Troubleshoot complex production issues.Optimize DevOps processes for performance, quality, and cost efficiency.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Support infrastructure automation initiatives.Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.Develop training materials, SOPs, and onboarding documentation.Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation.
