Role: DevOps With AWS Location: Englewood / Greenwood Village, CO 80111 (On-site / Hybrid) Compensation: $64/hr on W2 Fulltime ; W2 candidate only . Duration: 12 Months Position Overview Seeking an enterprise-grade DevOps Technology Architect with 7+ years of experience to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines. This hybrid/on-site role in the Englewood / Greenwood Village, CO area requires candidate submissions to include updated contact details (phone, email, Skype ID), 5 interview time slots over a 72-hour window, and a 15-minute screen recording. The architect will provision AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation), construct automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps), optimize cloud costs, and embed automated security and quality testing frameworks into delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities * Cloud Infrastructure Architecture & IaC: Design, provision, and maintain secure, highly available AWS cloud environments (Compute, VPC Networking, Storage, IAM) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. * CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Architect, deploy, and optimize end-to-end continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. * DevSecOps & Automated Testing: Integrate automated security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and automated unit/integration testing checks directly into automated build and deployment workflows. * Cloud Cost Optimization: Monitor resource utilization, analyze cloud consumption metrics, and execute cost-efficiency strategies across cloud environments. * Technical Mentorship & Governance: Establish DevOps best practices, standardize release playbooks, conduct pipeline reviews, and collaborate across cross-functional application development and architecture teams. * Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex build failures, deployment bottlenecks, cloud configuration drifts, and infrastructure performance issues. Required Skillset * Experience: 7+ years of dedicated professional IT experience specializing in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, and Systems Engineering. * AWS Cloud Mastery: Hands-on experience designing, provisioning, and operating multi-tenant cloud environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS). * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep technical command of Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning. * CI/CD Engineering: Expert-level mastery building automated pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. * Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting proficiency in Shell/Bash, Python, or YAML for pipeline automation and cloud orchestration. Preferred Qualifications * Development familiarity with Java, Node.js, or microservices application architectures. * AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect). * Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS).
