About Your Team Your colleagues form part of our wider global IT team operating across 17 countries with 24 experts internationally. In this role you will work with other IT colleagues in both Denmark and the rest of the world. Our global IT team is an integral part of the wider Finance and Operations Department. You will join a cross functional IT organization working across development, architecture, data, infrastructure, and business partnering. The team is closely connected to the business and to external partners, and is responsible for both internally developed services and the effective integration of external platforms into the wider technology landscape. What Will You Do? As our new Senior Developer you will play an important part in translating business needs into robust technical solutions. The role involves challenging ineffective solutions, improving engineering standards and contributing actively to architectural and technical decisions. We are therefore looking for someone who is solution-oriented, willing to take ownership of outcomes, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment. Additionally, you should be confident to challenge current practices while remaining open to new ideas and methods. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and a variety of internal stakeholders, as well as working closely with external vendors. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing production grade backend services in Golang to support integrations, APIs, and business critical workflows.Owning and enhancing core shared services and microservices, enabling integrations, workflows, and business automation.Building tools and digital capabilities to streamline business processesDesigning APIs and integration solutions, connecting platforms, external services ,and business applications..Working with SQL data structures and service-driven data flows supporting analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.Identifying automation opportunitiesContributing to Kubernetes based deployment patterns, Helm based configuration, runtime stability, and service observability.Building and improving CI CD pipelines focusing on secure, repeatable, and automated delivery.Using Terraform and related automation to support infrastructure as code and environment consistency.Owning the design, implementation, and operational stability of end-to-end data flows and pipelines The position is newly created to support our growth strategy and add further value to the team. About You We are looking for someone who is a structured and analytical thinker, and has a pragmatic approach to drive results., Your ability to remain humble is important when collaborating with technical and non-technical audiences across the business. To be successful in this role, you should have: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar relevant discipline.At least 5 years hands-on backend development experience within a corporate or product-based environment.Strong and proven experience with GolangExperience designing and implementing APIs and service to service integrations across multiple systems.Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and cloud hosted services.Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based deployments. Experience with Helm is required.Strong experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines. Practical knowledge of GitHub Actions or equivalent GitHub based automation is highly desirable.Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.Demonstrated SQL capabilities and confidence working with database design, data structures, DDL, and data transformations. Experience with PostgreSQL is highly relevant.Proficiency in JavaScript to develop services, integrations, and supporting tools.Confidence working in agile delivery environments using Jira and GitHub as core engineering tools. It will be a strong advantage if you also bring: Proven capability in C# and .NET development, including building, maintaining, and integrating enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with integration-heavy environments where multiple business systems and external vendors work together reliably.The ability to contribute to architecture discussions and translate principles into practical engineering decisions.Experience balancing speed, quality, and operational stability in a growing business environment. You must have current residency in Denmark with the necessary work and residency permits in place before applying. Spoken and written fluency in Danish and English is essential for this role.
