As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Our team develops reusable technologies that enhance customer acquisition, onboarding, and merchant empowerment, ensuring seamless experiences across in-store, mobile app, and website channels.
We focus on optimizing tariffs and assortment aligned with Walmart’s Everyday Low-Cost philosophy.

What You'll Do:
Own the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
6+ Years of Software Engineer experience at a senior level Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven expertise in Full Stack Development: UI Frameworks, Test Frameworks, API development, and database development Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Rust, TypeScript, and GraphQL Strong experience in delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform and business objectives.
Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
