Specific Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain secure APIs and Database Tables following software development best practicesCollaborate with Development Lead and Front-end Engineers to design efficient and re-usable MicroservicesParticipate with the team on Scrum EventsDemonstrate in writing robust and reusable codes adhering to software best practices and design patternsResearch on the latest software libraries by creating POC buildsDevelop API test for back-end services passing code coverage standards Test quality of output before hand over to SIT and UATProblem solving with stakeholders to come up with best approachCollaborate in development of bank standards as appropriatePerforms other duties as may be assigned from time to timeServe as change agent by introducing best practices to P11 to enterprise Qualifications BS Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar course4+ years experience in software developmentSelf starterExperience in agile environmentFast learner Excellent communications skills (Oral/Written)Excellent problem-solving / analytical skills Programming Languages / Framework Java 8+Spring BootRESTful API / MicroservicesPostgreSQL or other Relational DatabaseNode JS (Optional)Test Driven Development Tools and ServicesGit or SVNKubernetes / Docker (Optional)Azure Cloud Services (Optional)CI/CD Pipelines (Optional)
