Senior Software Developer

Job Location (Short): Hoofddorp, Netherlands | Garching b. Muenchen, Germany Workplace Type: Hybrid Req Id: 3145 Responsibilites Octave is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the team. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining software for the Octave OnCall product suite. This position will work on our next-generation computer-added dispatch system. Will work in a high-performance agile/scrum team of mixed disciplines. Will participate in design and development discussions, create software according to requirements, implement automated testing methods and diagnose failures, assist in review of documentation to verify correctness.  Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with 3-5 or more years of relevant experience Knowledge of agile/scrum Experience using GIT is preferred Experience with relational database concepts and SQL is preferred Experience in .NET development is preferred Experience in web UI development is preferred Experience with ReactJS, Angular, View or similar web UI technologies is highly desirable  About Octave Octave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle — Design, Build, Operate and Protect — where performance, safety, and reliability are non-negotiable and failure is not an option.
