Passionate about Linux performance tuning and ultra-low-latency infrastructure? I'm partnering with a leading trading firm seeking an Linux performance Engineer to optimize a highly tuned bare-metal Linux environment where performance is measured in microseconds and infrastructure is a genuine competitive advantage. You'll be responsible for: Linux kernel tuning, CPU isolation, NUMA optimization, and low-latency systems engineeringDPDK, OpenOnload, ef_vi and kernel-bypass networkingPTP (IEEE 1588) and nanosecond-accurate time synchronizationPerformance profiling using eBPF, perf, ftrace, flamegraphs and related toolingInfrastructure automation, CI/CD and observability focused on latency and jitterWorking directly with traders and developers to maximize system performance What we're looking for: Strong Linux infrastructure, SRE, platform or performance engineering backgroundDeep understanding of kernel internals and system optimizationExperience with low-latency networking technologiesPython, Bash and automation expertiseTrading, HFT, market-making or other latency-sensitive environments highly preferred This is a rare opportunity to join a team where squeezing out the next few microseconds genuinely matters.
