Azure Infrastructure Solutions Architect

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure & Migration Architect to lead and deliver large‑scale on‑premises to Azure cloud migration initiatives for enterprise customers. This role focuses on Azure infrastructure strategy, migration design, landing zone architecture, and solution governance, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud adoption. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise with Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, Azure SQL (IaaS/PaaS), Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Identity, and DevOps, along with strong stakeholder engagement and solutioning capabilities across regulated industries. Key Responsibilities Azure Architecture & Migration Solutioning Lead on‑premises and public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure MigrateDrive Azure solutioning for large, complex migration programs, covering business, application, and infrastructure layersDesign and build Azure Landing Zones, aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standardsDefine Azure target architectures, including HLDs and LLDs, covering all required Azure servicesProvide Bill of Materials (BoM), pricing models, and licensing guidance for Azure target solutionsMigration & Implementation Lead migration of on‑premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate and cloud‑native toolingProvide hands‑on leadership during Azure cloud migration executionTroubleshoot complex Azure and Windows infrastructure issues, including CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and clusteringSupport storage design, capacity planning, and performance optimizationDesign and implement business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solutionsInfrastructure, Security & Governance Design and implement Azure networking, identity, governance, and monitoring solutionsArchitect solutions using Azure SQL (IaaS & PaaS), Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and identity servicesEnsure solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance frameworksIntegrate monitoring and operational visibility across Azure environmentsAutomation & DevOps Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including scripting, execution, and troubleshootingSupport Azure DevOps usage including pipeline invocation and automation workflowsDevelop and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for deployment and operationsGood working knowledge of Puppet (secondary skill)Stakeholder & Client Engagement Work closely with internal teams, customers, and project managers to understand migration requirementsAct as a trusted technical advisor across industry domains such as banking, healthcare, and insurancePrepare and deliver solution presentations to stakeholders and customer leadershipEnsure solutions demonstrate value for money and align with long‑term cloud strategyRequired Skills & Experience Experience 13+ years of overall IT experience5+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud migrationsStrong experience across Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, Azure SQL (IaaS/PaaS), Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM, and Azure DevOpsProven experience delivering enterprise‑scale Azure migration programsPrimary Technical Skills Azure infrastructure assessment and migration using Azure MigrateAzure Landing Zone architecture and target state designTroubleshooting Azure and Windows infrastructure environmentsTerraform scripting and automationHands‑on Azure cloud migration experienceSecondary / Nice‑to‑Have Skills PowerShell scripting and troubleshootingAzure DevOps pipelines and automationPuppet configuration managementDesigning identity, governance, monitoring, and DR solutionsExperience with RiverMeadow (good to have)Certifications (Good to Have) AZ‑305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure SolutionsAZ‑104 – Microsoft Azure AdministratorSoft Skills Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skillsClear and confident communication for customer and internal meetingsAbility to prepare and present solution architecturesStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesCollaborative team player with a positive attitudeEducation BCA / MCA / BE / B.Tech or equivalent qualification
