Frontend Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer – Application Development to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop modern web applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative software solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Your Tasks: Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using contemporary frontend technologies. Implement new application features based on functional and business requirements. Develop intuitive user interfaces that provide an outstanding user experience. Build reusable frontend components and ensure consistency across applications. Integrate frontend applications with backend services and RESTful APIs. Optimize application performance, usability, and accessibility. Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous quality improvement. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software defects and technical issues. Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Contribute to technical discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Profile: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in frontend software development. Proven experience working in agile software development teams (e.g. Scrum or Kanban). Strong knowledge of React and/or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience developing modern web applications and integrating RESTful APIs. Good understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive web design, and accessibility standards. Experience with frontend testing frameworks and software quality assurance practices. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and modern software development workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive working style. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and international teams. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Basic German language skills are required.
