We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Own end-to-end software development, including design, implementation, testing, and operation of scalable services for core streaming infrastructure.
• Drive rapid innovation by developing quick proof-of-concepts, iterating on prototypes, and shipping production-grade code.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver consumer-facing features that meet technical and business goals.
• Serve as a technical leader, guiding design decisions, code reviews, and best-practice adoption.
• Dive deep into low-level details of operating systems and streaming technologies, while also providing strategic input for product direction.
What You'll Need
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience with video encoding and streaming media standards is a plus.
