Description

Role: (SDET) Test Tools & Software Engineer Location: San Diego, CA Duration: Full Time Job Description: Role Purpose: Develop and maintain test software, tools and automation assets that expand coverage and improve reliability for media and hardware validation programmers. Key Responsibilities • Develop, refactor, and maintain test scripts and tools for media and hardware validation. • Create reliable XCTest/XCUITest user-path automation for new hardware features. • Build internal utilities or applications to simplify test execution and evidence capture. • Maintain test device infrastructure and debug toolchain-related failures. • Partner with QA and engineering teams to increase coverage and reduce manual effort. Required Skills & Experience • 7-10 years in software engineering, SDET, test tooling or automation development. • Strong programming/scripting capability and experience designing maintainable test frameworks. • Hands-on exposure to device testing, media workflows, or hardware programme validation. • Experience with XCTest/XCUITest or equivalent UI/device automation frameworks. • Good debugging, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
