Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Full Stack Developer .
The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting design/development.
The place of performance for this contract is in Washington, DC and is NOT remote.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and test a web-based application.
Edit site content for various components.
Maintain website standards and comply with predefined design guidelines.
Utilize best practices in web screen design and learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Proficient in React.js and NodeJS.
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
Experience building and working with RESTful web services.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI.
Knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience working with open source software.
Experience with TypeScript (Intermediate).
Experience with Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) (Intermediate).
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) (Intermediate).
Experience with React.js (Advanced).
Experience with Node.js (Advanced).
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Detail oriented.
Able to work independently.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Proficient in working with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL preferred).
Experience with AWS containerization.
Experience working with a content management system such as Drupal to create, manage, and theme content.
Experience working in Unix/Linux environment.
508 compliance development.
