Software Engineering Team Lead / Manager North Leeds - Hybrid (1 -2 days in the office) Smart Technology We are partnered with a smart technology company driving innovation within the energy sector, creating solutions across software, hardware and cloud services. They require a Software Engineering Team Lead to lead a high-performing engineering team who are responsible for building and scaling a B2B SaaS platform. This is a technical leadership role with people management. You will lead the design, development, and delivery at the same time manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers (backend, frontend, and/or data engineers). Experience needed : Proven experience leading a software development team ideally in a SaaS environment.Extensive experience in backend development (e.g., APIs, microservices, distributed systems).Familiarity with AWS.Solid understanding of system scalability, performance optimization, and security.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.Experience of software development using languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript with REACT and Node.JS
