Job Description As a Software Engineer on the Core Financial Platform team, you will design and build the high-reliability systems responsible for moving money at scale. You will architect event-driven workflows, design reconciliation logic, and own the infrastructure for trading and fund management, ensuring the transparency and reliability that modern retirement investing requires. What You Will Do Architect and build core trading, financing, and fund management systems that orchestrate and reconcile complex flows of funds with high reliability.Design and implement event-driven backend systems and asynchronous workflows using tools like Kotlin, Temporal, and modern cloud infrastructure.Participate in high-level architecture discussions and code reviews, maintaining complete ownership of mission-critical transaction systems from design to production. The ideal candidate Has 3+ years of experience building distributed, high-reliability backend systems and event-driven architectures using languages like Kotlin, Go, or Rust.Demonstrates strong expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), with a focus on correctness and system reliability.Thrives in a fast-paced, high-agency environment and is excited to work in-office in SoHo to solve complex social and financial problems.
