Tasks Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of our backend stack Lead complex database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs Define the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the teamDefine the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders Requirements 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling An open mindset toward AI-assisted software development and hands-on experience with coding agents Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (English is our working language) A high degree of ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges Nice to Have Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership (people management experience is a plus) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments Benefits Flexible working hours Hybrid or fully remote work (Office in central Hamburg) Subsidized Germany Ticket (Deutschlandticket) Wellpass membership Opportunity to shape products in a fast-growing startup High degree of ownership Team events Salary of 70.000 - 80.000€ annually, based on your experience You'll become part of our cross-functional product team.
