Are you a DevOps engineer who enjoys solving difficult automation challenges, improving software delivery, and helping development teams adopt better processes?
We’re partnering with a well-established Northeast Ohio organization that is investing heavily in modernizing its software delivery platform.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of enterprise DevOps initiatives, improve CI/CD pipelines, support source control modernization, and help shape engineering best practices across the organization.
This role is especially well suited for someone who has hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git migrations, C#/.NET build processes, and hybrid infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing- DevOps Engineer | CI/CD | Git Migration
Design, build, and maintain enterprise DevOps automation solutionsBuild, improve, and own Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesSupport the migration of source control from TFVC to GitCreate Git standards, branching strategies, and development workflowsAutomate software builds and deployment processes for C#/.NET applicationsSupport Visual Studio build environments and release processesImprove configuration management, deployment reliability, and release speedWork closely with developers and infrastructure teams to streamline software deliverySupport Windows, Linux, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environmentsEvaluate new DevOps technologies and recommend improvementsCreate technical documentation and train developers on Git and DevOps best practicesLead automation initiatives that improve quality, reliability, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For- DevOps Engineer | CI/CD | Git Migration
5+ years of DevOps, automation, configuration management, or related experienceStrong experience with Azure DevOps and Azure PipelinesExperience migrating TFVC or another legacy source control platform to GitExperience creating Git branching strategies such as Git Flow, trunk-based development, feature branches, or release branchesExperience building CI/CD pipelines from the ground upExperience improving existing pipelines for reliability, speed, automation, and release frequencyHands-on experience supporting C#/.NET buildsExperience with Visual Studio build processesExperience with modern .NET environmentsMSIX packaging experience is a strong plusExperience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, YAML, or similar scripting toolsExperience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, or similar automation technologiesExperience supporting Windows and Linux environmentsExperience working with on-prem, Azure, or hybrid infrastructureAbility to train developers, influence technical teams, and lead the adoption of new DevOps processes
