Role Description This full-time, on-site Software Engineer role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
A and focuses on building and maintaining the core platform that connects clients with personal chefs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing backend services, APIs, and integrations that support scheduling, payments, and user management.
The Software Engineer will collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable software solutions.
The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving system performance, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, using modern languages and development tools.Strong skills in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs and working with databases.Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts to design maintainable, modular systems.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.Ability to collaborate in a startup environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional partners, and take ownership of features from concept to deployment.Interest in food, hospitality, or marketplace platforms is a plus, along with prior experience at early-stage startups.
