Magma Math, is a K–12 platform that helps teachers make smarter instructional decisions and encourages deeper student-driven discussions and collaboration around math.

We're based in Warsaw, but our team spans New York 🗽, Stockholm 🇸🇪, and London 🇬🇧 — and you’ll have chances to meet everyone in person!
On-site role: We expect candidates to visit our office 4 days a week.
🧠 What You’ll Work With
TypeScript, Node.js, NestJSMongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQAWS and microservicesLots of integrations (we do that a lot)Mix of greenfield and legacy systems (nothing scary)
✨ What you'll do
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend servicesWork within our microservices architecture, handling both maintenance and greenfield projectsOptimize, maintain, and continuously improve existing systems while building new featuresTake ownership of the solutions you create, from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenanceCollaborate with PMs, QAs, and other developers to create the best experience for our users
🔍 What we’re looking for
A proven track record in software engineering with a history of impactful contributionsStrong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, efficient codeProficiency in system design and making architectural decisionsA proactive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing startup environmentConfident English – you can easily communicate complex technical conceptsTeam player – no lone wolves.
