Tämä Positio Raportoi Manager, Manufacturing Support __ Your Role And Responsibilities We are now looking for a new Software Design Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Support team at ABB Oy, Distribution Solutions in Vaasa. In this, you will be responsible for production testing software development and production maintenance in collaboration with your highly skilled teammates. We are primarily looking for an experienced technical expert, but the position can be adjusted based on the selected candidate to also suit more junior experts with some relevant experience and high motivation to develop further. The work model for this role is hybrid, You Will Be Mainly Accountable For Developing and maintaining test systems and production tests in a global environmentLabview programmingVerifying developed codes with product and test equipment in actual working environmentWorking closely with other functions in the unit, such as Operations teams, R&D and Quality, to support global productionsCollaboration with and support other ABB Distribution Automation factories and electronic manufacturing suppliers globally, including possibility to travel when right level of skills is reached Our Team Dynamics Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Qualifications For The Role BSc. or MSc. level degree from a relevant field, such as Electrical engineering, automation or ITSeveral years of work experience in a global industrial environment, production testing knowledge and focus on software are seen as an advantageKnowledge and previous experience with Labview programming, all other programming languages are considered a strong advantageGood problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt to new things swiftlyFluency in English, both written and spoken, Finnish is considering an advantageTeam player with good communication and collaboration skillsFamiliarity with electronics or production testing and embedded electronics are seen as a benefit Benefits Our culture and benefits reflect our values: courage, care, curiosity and collaboration.
