Senior Product Manager

The role requires a senior (EL2 equivalent) Product Manager to work in partnership with business owners to implement new initiatives, manage the lifecycle of a platform or improve a scheme’s end-to-end value stream. The role does not require expertise in a specific technology stack, programming language or platform. Candidates should be comfortable working in a complex technology environment, be able to understand system and data flows, engage effectively with architects, engineers and delivery teams, assess technical constraints and trade-offs and participate in shaping solutions that are desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable. The role requires experience with product discovery, backlog management, prioritisation, roadmap development and working in an Agile environment. There is no single underlying platform, Product Managers work across end-to-end business value streams that support the agency’s schemes and regulatory functions. The role spans business processes, data, policy, operational capabilities and technology.
