Role Description This full-time DevSecOps / Platform Engineer role is based in Stuttgart in a hybrid setup, combining on-site collaboration with the option to work from home part of the time. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that support grid planning and energy solutions. Day-to-day tasks include building and automating CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls into the software lifecycle, monitoring infrastructure and applications, and troubleshooting platform issues across environments. The DevSecOps / Platform Engineer will collaborate closely with software developers, data experts, and energy engineers to ensure that tools and services are robust, secure, and aligned with regulatory and performance requirements. Additional responsibilities include documenting platform configurations, improving internal tooling, and contributing to best practices in cloud, infrastructure, and application security. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues across applications, platforms, and infrastructure components.Candidates should possess Software Development and Programming skills for building tools, services, and automation scripts that support DevSecOps and platform operations.Candidates should possess Infrastructure expertise, including experience with cloud environments, containerization, orchestration, and networking fundamentals.Candidates should possess Databases knowledge, covering design, performance optimization, security, and integration with applications and services.Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating security into development and deployment workflows.Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, and the ability to use them for performance and reliability improvements.Understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, and compliance in technical environments.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Interest in the energy sector, renewable technologies, and grid-related solutions is a
