Senior Frontend Developer

We are a Dutch recruitment agency based in the Netherlands and we are preferred suppliers to major banking organizations based in the Netherlands. For one of our major clients based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer. 36-40 hours 2-3 year project Hybrid (1-2 days per week on-site) The project: We are a tight-knit squad of six engineers. As we grow, we’re tackling one of our most exciting challenges yet: leveraging AI to build a sustainable FE development flow. In addition to this, our team designs, maintains, and supports several core web libraries and components—including a custom router and a mock server kit—that are used across our frontend ecosystem. Our team scope consists of: Skillset: 10+ years’ experience in development/software engineering and working within agile organisations.Strong skills in JavaScript with a focus on the core and how JavaScript works.Enthusiastic about AI and wants to help build AI-powered products and solutions.Experience with the NodeJS ecosystem and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest JavaScript releases and features.Familiarity with WebComponents meta-specification.Experience with frontend build tooling e.g., Webpack and Rollup.Experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps.Deployments to CDN, NFM Feeds, release procedures, risk evaluation and security.Desirable Design Patterns: Single Page Applications, Server-Side Rendering / Static Site Generation (NextJS)Well versed with TDD, BDD, and testing tools such as Mocha, Chai, Selenium, Karma, etc.Strong technical communication skills and keen to engage with customers.
