Software Engineer / .NET Core, Azure, AI £50,000-£65,000 Manchester / Hybrid We're working with a growing digital product business that's investing heavily in its engineering capability, modernising its platform and embedding AI into the heart of how software is designed, built and delivered. This isn't about adding another chatbot. It's about giving engineers the freedom to experiment with AI-assisted development and agentic workflows that genuinely improves productivity and product outcomes. The opportunity You'll join a cross-functional product squad building customer-facing products used by millions of members in the loyalty and rewards space. While the core platform is built on modern Microsoft technologies, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute across the wider technology estate where required as the business continues its platform modernisation. What you'll be doing Building scalable applications and APIs using C# and .NETDeveloping cloud-native solutions on Microsoft AzureEmbedding quality engineering principles that produce clean, maintainable and well-tested softwareWorking closely with Product, UX and QA in a collaborative product squadExploring AI-assisted development to improve engineering productivityHelping implement agentic workflows that automate repetitive engineering processesContinuously improving performance, scalability and developer experience What we're looking for Commercial experience developing applications with the latest versions of C# and .NETExperience building REST APIs and backend servicesGood knowledge of SQL Server and AzureAn appreciation of modern engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testingCuriosity around AI, LLMs and the future of software developmentSomeone already using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or someone genuinely excited to adopt themExperience working in product-led engineering teams Desirable React and TypeScript experienceExposure to PHP or LaravelAzure DevOps and Docker What you'll get £50,000 - £65,000Benefits inc.
