Job Title: Salesforce Developer (mid-level and senior/architect openings)
Location: Columbus, OH — hybrid (~2–3 days/week onsite)
Contract: 6-9 months
Overview
Our Client is modernizing a statewide platform.
We are seeking Salesforce Developers to help rewrite and modernize the application, migrating custom functionality from Salesforce Classic to Lightning and rebuilding workflows and data structures on an active delivery timeline.
Openings are available at both mid-level and senior/architect levels.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.Migrate existing features and workflows from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience.Build and optimize data models, flows, triggers, and integrations.Write and maintain test coverage; participate in code reviews and manage deployments across sandboxes.Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and project management to deliver against project milestones.(Senior / Architect) Own solution design, guide the technical approach, and mentor other developers.Required Qualifications
Hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC/Visualforce, SOQL) — not admin/configuration only.Experience with Lightning Experience and familiarity with Salesforce Classic.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, or equivalent demonstrated development experience.Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment practices.Able to work onsite in Columbus 2–3 days per week, or an approved remote arrangement.Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migration experience.Platform Developer II or an Architect-track certification (Application/System Architect) — especially for senior/architect openings.Integration experience (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft).Public-sector or regulated-industry experience.Experience leading or mentoring developers and owning end-to-end solution design (senior/architect).
