Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring for an Amsterdam-based food tech startup focused on helping restaurants grow and compete. Post-seed, well-funded, and heading toward Series A. Seven engineers, all senior, all with real ownership. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to build product, not just code. Someone who cares about what ships, not just how it ships. The role You'll be working across the full stack on a Python/Django backend and Next.js/TypeScript frontend, deployed on GCP. The problems range from SEO infrastructure and marketplace dynamics to real-time logistics and checkout flows. There's no shortage of interesting things to build. It's a small, senior team: high ownership, short feedback loops, and no layers between you and the product decisions that matter. Builder mentality - backend leaning is preferred.
