Summary Avanade is growing, and we seek motivated and engaged technology professionals to join our Managed Services team delivering continuous value to our client’s businesses. We are seeking a Power Platform Engineer who can design, build, and support practical business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to deliver apps, automation, integrations, and data-led improvements that are secure, scalable, and easy to support. Core to the Role Design, build, test, and support Power Platform solutions across business teams and user groups. Assess business needs, technical constraints, and readiness for new apps and automation. Create practical solution designs, delivery plans, and stakeholder engagement materials. Develop canvas apps, model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse components. Build simple guides, support notes, release updates, and knowledge articles for users. Support governance adoption, including environments, security roles, connectors, ALM, and standards. Run workshops, demos, backlog sessions, and support clinics to improve solution uptake. Track solution performance, identify friction points, and recommend continuous improvements. About You You are a hands-on Power Platform professional who can turn business problems into useful, maintainable solutions. You understand low-code delivery, integration patterns, security, and support needs across Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure-connected services. You are confident working with stakeholders, service teams, makers, and end users to deliver outcomes that stick. Professional Skillset Strong working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Microsoft 365. Experience delivering business apps, process automation, integrations, and operational improvements. Ability to create solution designs, technical notes, user guides, release notes, and support artefacts. Confident facilitator with experience running workshops, demos, backlog reviews, and stakeholder briefings. Understanding of Power Platform governance, security, connectors, environments, ALM, and data lifecycle basics. Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Preferred Education and Experience 3–5 years’ experience in Power Platform, Microsoft 365, application support, or solution delivery roles. Experience supporting app delivery, workflow automation, integration, migration, or managed services programs. Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, APIs, custom connectors, Azure, or Dynamics 365 integrations. Experience building maker enablement, governance models, support processes, or business readiness plans. Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business systems, or related field. Certifications Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) (desirable) Relevant Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, integration, or IT service management certifications Due to specific client requirements, candidates must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance where required.
