Founding Software Engineer | €90k–€130k + Equity | Munich (On-site) Early-stage startup building a product that sits directly in front of customers, not hidden behind internal tooling. The focus is on delivering reliable, user-facing systems that people interact with daily. They’re at the point where product is defined, but the technical foundation is still being shaped. The founding team is hands-on, product-led, and needs someone who can take ownership rather than wait for direction. You’ll be joining at a stage where decisions still matter. Architecture, tooling, and how things get built are all open for input. Role Senior Engineer owning backend systems and customer-facing services, working directly with the founders. Responsibilities Build and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPIOwn features end-to-end, from design through to productionDevelop and scale customer-facing web applicationsDrive best practices across testing, CI/CD, and deploymentContribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical direction Requirements 5+ years in software engineering rolesStrong backend experience with Python (FastAPI preferred)Solid frontend exposure with TypeScript, React, Next.jsExperience in startup or high-ownership environmentsStrong understanding of SDLC and production systemsComfortable working closely with product and taking initiative €90k–€130k + meaningful equity Munich-based, on-site. English-speaking environment.
