Senior Quality Engineer / Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Lower Saxony, Germany
Industry: Aerospace / Aviation / Automotive Component Manufacturing
As Quality Manager (m/f/d), you will report directly to senior management and take ownership of the quality management system at our client's manufacturing site.
You will ensure quality processes are implemented effectively, lead the quality team, and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.
The Role
Plan, organise, and oversee the quality management system in accordance with relevant industry standards.Maintain and continuously improve the standards set out in the quality management manualOwn the development, upkeep, and documentation of the QM systemPrepare for, conduct, and support both internal and external auditsInvestigate root causes of non-conformities and define and implement corrective measuresLead and develop a small team of quality professionalsContribute to cross-functional projects and quality improvement circlesReport annually to senior leadership on the effectiveness and compliance of the QM system
About You
7+ years of Quality experience across electrical, aerospace, aviation, automotive, or mechanical engineering.Certified Quality Management Representative, Internal/External Auditor, or equivalent — experience within aerospace, aviation, automotive, rail, or industrial manufacturing quality frameworks welcomed (e.g.
IATF 16949, EN 9100, ISO 9001, IRIS/ISO 22163, etc..)Several years of hands-on experience in a quality management leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment.Strong grounding in QM systems, methods, and technical documentationFluent German and good English
