TSR Consulting is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Node.JS AI Engineer for an Onsite opportunity based in Toronto, ON, Calgary, AB, or Halifax, NS
Role: Senior Node.JS AI Engineer (LlamaIndex / LlamaParse)
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Toronto, ON, Calgary, AB, or Halifax, NS
We are looking for a Senior Node.js AI Engineer with strong experience in building AI-powered backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.Hands-on experience with LlamaIndex, LlamaParse, and RAG applications.Experience with embeddings, prompt engineering, chunking, vector search, and semantic search.Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or Azure OpenAI.Experience processing documents such as PDF, DOCX, Excel, HTML, JSON, and OCR-based files.Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or pgvector.Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD.
Preferred Skills:
NestJS or Fastify.LangChain, LangGraph, or MCP.Neo4j (Knowledge Graphs).Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract, or Google Document AI.Kafka or RabbitMQ.
