Description

A Global Financial firm is looking for Backend Developer (Java, Python, Spring).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business users in Japan to support their business process transformation by designing and implementing technology solution through agile development
- Participate in the full project life cycle including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development, and testing
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and toolsets for above function, including re-engineering of those applications for continuous improvement
- This position includes 50% development work from scratch and 50% maintenance together with design work
- Provide 3rd level support assistance to the Production Support team, to enable effective and timely support of the production environment
Required Skills:
- 5β8 years of experience in the IT industry with strong hands-on development expertise in Java, Spring, and Python, including debugging and performance optimization in Linux environments and regional data bases (RDBMS)
- At least 1- 2 years experience with CI/CD tools and practices, with strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver effective solutions
- Experience in the financial industry
