Position: Senior Java AWS Developer
Location: Toronto ON
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.Architect and build RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise-grade applications.Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions, ensuring scalability and reliability.Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, SQS, and API Gateway.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.Drive application modernization initiatives and implement best practices for cloud adoption and migration.Lead and coordinate development efforts across onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery.Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote engineering excellence and coding standards.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps best practices.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, availability, and operational efficiency in production environments.Ensure application security, compliance, and adherence to enterprise architecture and development standards.Leverage prior Financial Services domain experience to deliver robust solutions for Banking, Capital Markets, FinTech, or Insurance business functions.
