About The Role Take our React Native / Expo app to the next level and own the craft of how it feels in people's handsWork closely with the founders and designer in a flat, autonomous team, reporting to Christian (CTO)Remote-friendly (within UTC−3 to UTC+5 for 4-5 hour overlap with Denmark), with our home base in the Copenhagen city-center office. If you’re in Denmark we do require you to be in Copenhagen What You'll Do Ship a polished, native-feeling app and sweat the details: animation, haptics, the small touches that make it delightfulTurn a vague idea or a napkin sketch into a real, shipped featureExplore different routes to a feature while keeping focus on getting it into users' handsPut yourself in the user's shoes on every decision What We're Looking For Extensive React Native experience and a background building native mobile appsA feel for polish: you know where a little animation or haptic makes the differenceComfortable working autonomously from loose direction, not a fully scoped specA real passion for travel, and an understanding that everyone travels differentlyConsumer app experience is a big plus, as is Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java (nice to have, not required) How We Work Engineering here is creative work.
