Design test specifications for embedded software in an automated test systemCreate test plans together with the test managerDevelop, maintain, optimize, and execute testsInterpret test results, create reports and drive improvementsTroubleshoot issues and analyze patterns in system behaviorCollaborate on development of test automation framework
Use your skills.
You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields, or relevant work experienceYou are proactive and willing to learn the business domain and its processesYou have substantial experience in testing and strong related skills (exploratory testing, risk analysis, test design, troubleshooting, reporting, and communication)You understand programming (e.g., Python), test automation design patterns, CI/CD, git strategies, embedded software or related protocols (e.g., CANopen)You understand international rules and regulations for functional safety and cybersecurity and know how to apply them in the context of testingYou communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing in English (German is a plus), and you challenge the status quo with curiosityProfessional education or certificates such as Black Box Software Testing (BBST), Rapid Software Testing (RST), ISTQB or functional safety are welcome but not a differentiator)
