We're looking for a junior full-stack developer with a frontend leaning who's excited to help turn a live nautical chart into an intuitive product and to grow fast, with senior engineers around you to learn from.
You won't be thrown in alone: you'll get real features to work on, code review, and mentorship.

What you'll actually work onA few things you'll work on, with guidance from the team:
Interactive chart tools: help build features to draw, measure, and plan routes directly on maps.Data-visualization features: weather charts, animated overlays and effects layered onto voyage simulations.Map tiles with several layers: wiring geospatial data into the UI.Full-stack features: contribute across the React front end and the Node/TypeScript backend, pairing with senior engineers to take features from screen to API.UI/UX: help shape how the product looks and feels, not just implement pixel-for-pixel mockups.Learning the codebase fast: through pairing, code review, and honest feedback.Cross-team collaboration: work with product, backend and the data science team as you grow into owning your own features.Environment: a React + TypeScript app (Vite, MUI) with heavy geospatial UI, and a Node.js + TypeScript backend (Express, Sequelize over PostgreSQL, Redis).
Must-havesA solid foundation in React + TypeScript + modern JavaScript (ES6+) from studies, a bootcamp, an internship, or personal projects.
