As a Market Team Manager - Seoul you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and Managers while Collaborating with the Area Manager to improve hotel availability and supply for the South Korea market. You will also build quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Booking.com BV in order to meet the demands of the visitors on our website. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Leading and mentoring a team of employees to achieve both interpersonal and individual objectives Responsible for internal and external recruitment activities in the team Driving the development of individuals, using frameworks and tools to empower the team Maintaining a positive relationship with the meaningful partners to achieve targets and growth Maintaining ties with partners through accompanying team members on visits, events and industry conferences Participate in various partner events with the objective to support business results. Being the market authority on the industry by understanding the spectrum of the competitors and the landscape of partners Reviewing team targets’ pace to ensure meeting business goals by guiding and mentoring the team in planning and prioritizing Being the authority on the operational side to drive efficiency and effectiveness Role Qualifications and Requirements: Solution oriented and result-driven Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in an international environment Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as managing a team Analytical skills Excellent commercial skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multitask & flexible demeanor Proficient in English and Korean language Travel for work to the market for up to 50% of the time 3-4 years of Leadership experience MInimum 8 years or more work experience Benefits & Perks - Global Impact, Personal Relevance: Booking.com’s Total Rewards Philosophy is not only about compensation but also about benefits.
