Description

Engineering Manager – Solution Engineering – Hybrid (3 days a week) €130,000 to €140,000 If you're the kind of engineering leader who still enjoys getting your hands dirty technically, this could be right up your street. This isn't a role where you'll spend your days in back-to-back management meetings. You'll be leading a small team, working directly with enterprise customers, designing technical solutions, and making sure projects are delivered without unnecessary complexity or scope creep. You'll be the technical voice in conversations with some major clients, translating business problems into scalable solutions while keeping delivery teams focused on what actually needs to be built. What you'll be doing: Leading technical workshops and solution design sessions with enterprise customers.Owning client-facing technical conversations and acting as a trusted engineering partner.Designing integrations across APIs, authentication and identity platforms.Keeping projects on track by managing scope and challenging unnecessary requests when needed.Supporting and mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture and technical delivery.Working closely with the Head of Client Engineering and collaborating with global teams. You'll probably have experience with: A strong full-stack engineering background..NET on the backend.Python, ideally for serverless or Lambda-based workloads.React or modern frontend frameworks.API integrations and JSON-based configuration.Authentication technologies such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).Working with enterprise customers and navigating complex technical stakeholder groups.Leading engineers while still enjoying solving technical problems yourself. This role would suit someone who's comfortable switching between architecture discussions, customer meetings, reviewing code, and helping their team deliver. You'll need to be commercially aware, technically credible, and confident enough to challenge clients when requirements drift beyond the agreed scope. If you've worked in consulting, solution engineering, customer engineering, or implementation teams before and enjoy being the bridge between customers and engineering, you'll probably feel right at home.
