Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a 12-month engagement to design, build, and support hybrid cloud environments across public clouds and on-premises systems. You will be responsible for maintaining complex Linux environments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and embedding robust security and audit practices into all operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with identity and access controls, infrastructure as code, and centralized audit logging. Strong communication skills and the ability to align infrastructure with strict corporate security policies are essential for success in this role.

products Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access General Skills: Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, etc Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS, to support modern web technologies: LAMP, MEAN, Drupal and Elasticsearch Experience setting up development environments and mechanism using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins or similar tools Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc. Experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc. for continuous integration Knowledge of container-based virtualization technology like Docker Integration Experience in building and using APIs Experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best practices Experience in mobile device management for various versions of cellular and tablets Evaluation Criteria Cloud and Infrastructure (40%): Design , deploy, and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments across public cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Linux solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions and on‑premises systemsProficiency with maintaining Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage and core network servicesAssessment of frameworks, platforms, and tech stacks for creating cloud-based solutions.Experience in designing and building cloud environments.Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node) and build tools (Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).Building and using APIs or other integration endpoints.Manage and support identity and access controls using Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.Perform system maintenance, upgrades and standards.Identification and resolution of infrastructure vulnerabilities.Design, implement, and maintain centralized audit logging across cloud, on‑prem, and DevOps platforms.Ensure audit logs are audit findings remediation Project Management Skills (15%): Effective project planning, scope definition, and resource allocation.Risk management, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.Stakeholder communication and coordination of cross-functional teams.Support planning efforts such as roadmap development, modernization initiatives, and investment decisions.
